A unique space that gathers the history, vision, and passion of a key figure in the development of professional hairdressing in Spain.

VMV Cosmetic Group has inaugurated the Tuesday 28 April the Víctor Martínez Vicario Museum, a space dedicated to preserving and promoting the career of its founder, an essential figure in the evolution of the professional hairdressing and beauty sector.
The event was attended by various local authorities, as well as prominent figures and media from the sector. The inauguration took place at the facilities of VMV Cosmetic Group in Lliçà de Vall, where the group has its headquarters, a location deeply linked to its history and growth.
A journey through the history of a vocation
The Víctor Martínez Vicario Museum offers a tour through the most relevant milestones of his career, from his beginnings as an entrepreneur to the consolidation of a leading business group at a national and international level.

The space brings together personal objects, tools, historical documents, and emblematic pieces that reflect not only the evolution of the company but also the transformation of the sector over the decades. A journey that allows us to understand the human and professional dimension of a figure who understood beauty as a combination of technique, effort, and sensitivity.
A legacy based on values
During the inauguration ceremony, the family highlighted the importance of keeping the founder's spirit alive.
“Today we are inaugurating a very special space for our family and for the entire group. This museum is a tribute to his figure, but also to his way of understanding life and his profession: with passion, effort and a deep vocation for people. His legacy continues to be the foundation on which we build the present and future of VMV Cosmetic Group.

For its part, the Mrs Ana Ribes, wife of Don Víctor, vice-president of the group and president of the Víctor Martínez Vicario Foundation, underlines the emotional component of the project:
“This museum is founded with the aim of preserving his memory, but also of inspiring new generations of professionals. Víctor not only built a company, he built a way of understanding beauty based on excellence, dedication and respect for the craft.
A link with the territory, the sector and the future
During the inauguration, the family particularly thanked the support of the Lliçà de Vall Town Council, a municipality that has accompanied the group's growth throughout its history and is an essential part of its roots.
On the opening day, the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried out by the family, followed by a tour of the museum and the screening of a moving tribute video with testimonials from those very close to Don Víctor, in an atmosphere charged with emotion and recognition.
The museum is thus presented as an open space, conceived not only to remember the past, but to project the future of the sector, keeping alive the values that defined its founder.
Social Commitment: The Víctor Martínez Vicario Foundation
The museum's inauguration also reinforces the group's social commitment through the Víctor Martínez Vicario Foundation, a key entity in the continuity of the founder's human legacy. Don Víctor Martínez Vicario was proof that dreams, with effort and passion, can be achieved. He made his own dream a reality and wanted to give back to the sector and society everything it had given him.
The foundation drives initiatives focused on cancer research, support for cancer patients, and the development of social projects linked to well-being and quality of life. Its work reflects the solidarity and commitment to people that always characterised Víctor Martínez Vicario.
An espA place to remember, learn, and inspire
The Víctor Martínez Vicario Museum is establishing itself as a new landmark for the sector, a place where history, innovation, and emotion converge to pay homage to a figure who marked a before and after in professional hairdressing.
