SUSTAINABILITY

Committed to the environment

We put people and care for the planet at the centre of our decisions.

We adopt sustainable and responsible practices to protect the environment and promote a healthier and more sustainable future for all. An approach that recognises the importance of balancing the interests of employees, customers, suppliers and local communities with the need to protect and preserve the environment.

We have integrated sustainability into the heart of our growth strategy. We align ourselves with the 2030 Agenda by adopting clear objectives: we promote gender equality, we promote access to quality education, we manage our resources responsibly and we are committed to sustainable innovation throughout our production chain.

Renewable energy and energy efficiency

We are committed to solar panels with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency in 5 years and we are working to improve energy efficiency in our factories and warehouses through the use of natural light, LED lighting, efficient motors and centralised IT systems.

Sustainable water management

Minimising water waste and maximising the efficiency of our processes. We have a water purification plant located in the production plant with a purification capacity of 360,000 litres per year.

Going for biodegradable packaging

We are implementing the use of biodegradable plastics for the manufacture of our bottles, caps, closures, closures, stoppers, etc.

Local and sustainable raw materials

We prioritise a sustainable purchasing policy, choosing local ingredients that are treated in a fair and environmentally friendly way.

Cruelty Free policy on all brands

VMV Cosmetic Group companies do not test, nor have they at any time in their history, tested on animals.

VÍCTOR MARTÍNEZ VICARIO FOREST

In 2024, we created the Víctor Martínez Vicario Forest made up of 2,000 trees in the Vértice del frío area in Teruel. This action has led to the regeneration of 2 ha, a water benefit of 21 m3, the absorption of 6.03 tonnes of CO2 and 600h of rural employment.
The project aims to restore the forests in this historic area, which was once a large forest ecosystem. The species we plant here are adapted to these conditions, and grow slowly but surely.

VMV Cosmetic Group adheres to the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda driven by the United Nations for a more sustainable planet. We seek to ensure quality education and affordable, secure and sustainable energy for all.
